Sam VanDixhorn has made history by qualifying for the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) at Christian Life School, causing excitement and pride to run throughout the school. Sam is the first student from our school to achieve this prestigious level of competition, marking a significant moment for CLS.

The journey to AIME began with Sam’s exceptional performance on the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) 12, where he demonstrated his mathematical prowess by achieving a high score. His stellar performance placed him among the top 16% of students who participated in the AMC 12 last November, showcasing his dedication and talent in the field of mathematics.

The AMC 12 competition drew more than 16,000 students from around 1,500 different schools across the country. This event allowed Sam to showcase his mathematical abilities that he has honed over years of participation. Remarkably, Sam has been competing in AMC math competitions since fifth grade, demonstrating his long-term commitment and passion for mathematics.
