Whether this is your first year as part of the #BlueCrew or you've been with us for years, there's a lot to remember.

Here are some frequently asked questions to use as a reference during another busy school year!

How do parental involvement hours work?

Parent Involvement is back to normal this year and we are excited to see our parents back in the building volunteering! As a reminder, we require all families to either serve 15 hours, donate $150 worth of needed items, or pay the $150 fee.

We have billed the $150 for the Parent Involvement fee to your Smart Tuition account in June of 2022. This allows time for hours to be completed and turned into the main office. Parent volunteers are needed to help with Carline at the end of the day. Additional parental hour opportunities are listed on the Resource Page on MyCLS and parents can sign up and volunteer. Additionally, hours need to be signed off on. Cards can be picked up from the main office to log hours.

What is MyCLS?

MyCLS is our resource for managing your students and accounts while you are at Christian Life. It allows you to stay connected to information about your student's grades, assignments, attendance, and schedule. It also allows you to check your tuition and cafeteria account balances, the school calendar, and other important school documents. It is also our online learning management system. It is a website specifically designed to track and deliver educational content.

There is a MyCLS icon located in the top, right menubar of this website. Click there to login or click HERE.

If this is your first time logging in:

Click "First time logging in." You will be asked for your email address. Fill that in and check the box to retrieve your password. *Optionally, you can also click the Username box as well to get the information sent to your inbox.
Check your inbox and click the reset password link.
Create your new password and type it again to confirm.

NOTE: Your username will be firstname, lastname

*Most often a formal first name is used, not a nickname, ie - Jonathan instead of John

How do I find out what's going on at the school?

How will I be notified if there's an emergency closing?

Christian Life School will close whenever extreme situations or severe weather conditions dictate closings. A decision will be made by the Head of School to close. If CLS announces a closing due to snow or severe weather parents, staff, and students will receive emergency and school closing alerts via text, email, and phone calls. The CLS Facebook page will be updated along with local radio and tv stations informed.

We believe education should be Christ-centered, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3). We serve our children and young people spiritually, socially, and academically; training them in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). The Lord has blessed CLS with fine facilities, quality academic programs, and a variety of extracurricular opportunities that will enrich your child’s educational experience.
