Solid Foundations – Bright Expectations

Here at Christian Life School Preschool, we are passionate about serving families and partnering with parents to build a solid foundation in their children that will allow them to thrive and grow spiritually, academically, and socially. We provide a safe and loving environment where we focus on developmentally appropriate activities that are biblically based.

A solid foundation spiritually… He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock (Luke 6:48). We believe it is never too early to begin influencing young lives for Christ. In the Preschool Department, we have Bible curriculum in K2, K3, and K4. Our teachers are believers who are encouraged to daily represent Christ in all they teach through personal interaction, books, art, and music. The foundation of our curriculum is biblical instruction and academic knowledge.

A solid foundation academically… Wise men store up knowledge… (Proverbs 10:14). We believe early childhood education is our opportunity to encourage a love of learning that creates lifelong learners and prepares each child for years of success in school. It is our belief that learning is fun and we encourage this through play-based experiences. A child who is taught to have a fun attitude toward learning throughout their early learning experience will carry it with them through their years of education.

A solid foundation socially…  And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men (Luke 2:52). We believe that by providing a loving, nurturing environment focused on character development, children will flourish to become confident, contributing individuals in their community.  We strive to develop each child’s self-confidence, independent thinking skills, and respect for self and others.

Bright Expectations…  Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it (Proverbs 22:6). Like a tree that is just beginning to send down roots, children will grow in the way they are first encouraged. In the Preschool Department, we strive to point them in the right direction as they begin to walk thru life.

We have the opportunity to lay a solid foundation for young children that can be built upon for the rest of their lives. We consider this a great privilege and great responsibility.
