Part 2/2 Discipleship Process at CLS

As you may already know, we are in the process of creating a long term strategic discipleship plan for our K-12th grade students. Here at Christian Life School our goal is that our students would graduate as continuous disciples. Currently, we disciple our students daily through multiple Bible studies on our campus ranging from 7th grade to 12th grade and the Word of God is present in the curriculum in every classroom.

Each teacher is empowered and encouraged to disciple their students to become lifelong followers of Jesus. Many staff members here at CLS regularly use their lunch break to be with our students. We do this so that students have an opportunity to create their worldview based on scripture.

“I feel very appreciated that Mr. Caputo sacrifices his lunch time to spend with my friends and I. We love eating with one of our favorite teachers.” – Silas McWilliams, current CLS Student

We are very excited to share with you that this spring, the upper school is implementing a new discipleship leader program. A small group of students who were wanting to grow deeper in their spiritual leadership were chosen to pioneer this at school. These students are going to help lead chapel reflection times, mentor younger students, and support our chapel services.

As a Chrsitian school, we must create opportunities for students to lead spiritually and this program does this.
