Christian Life Upper School: Faith and Excellence
At Christian Life Upper School, students in grades seven to twelve embark on a journey filled with academic rigor, spiritual growth, and vibrant community life. Our Upper School spans both middle and high school, tailoring education and activities to meet each grade’s unique needs and interests. Whether starting middle school or preparing for graduation, students thrive in this dynamic environment.
Middle School: Building Foundations
In middle school, students actively build a strong foundation for the future. They take on leadership roles through the Middle School Student Council, forge friendships at dances, and explore new horizons on exciting field trips. Moreover, through the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), students push themselves to excel academically and serve their community.
High School: Embracing Opportunities
As students enter high school, the excitement only intensifies. High schoolers at Christian Life dive into the Homecoming festivities, participating in a spirited Pep Rally, a lively dance, and various events that unite the entire school. Additionally, Snowcoming, prom, and Student Council offer countless opportunities to connect, lead, and create lasting memories. Beyond these experiences, leadership classes, NHS, and mission trips further deepen their faith and broaden their perspectives.
Clubs and Community
Every year, students eagerly dive into new club opportunities. These clubs are more than just extracurricular activities—they’re dynamic ways to build community and form strong friendships. From academic clubs to interest-based groups, students have the chance to explore their passions in a supportive, engaging environment.
Academic Excellence
Christian Life Upper School consistently drives students toward academic excellence. Students engage in MAP testing, ACT prep, and competitive challenges like the AMC and PSAT/NMSQT, which sharpen their skills for college. Furthermore, the Learning Success Center provides targeted support, helping students improve study habits and master areas that need extra attention.
Celebrating Achievements
Our students consistently achieve greatness. Recently, 15 students earned recognition as AP Scholars. Among them, 5 achieved AP Scholar with Honor, and another 5 attained AP Scholar with Distinction. These accolades highlight their hard work and dedication. In addition, many students have earned Benchmark Beaters, STEM Awards, and high ACT scores, with several scoring 25+ and even 30+ on their composite ACT.
A Mission-Driven Education
At Christian Life School, we are dedicated to preparing students to make a meaningful impact on the world for God. In a rapidly changing society, we focus on instilling eternal truths and enduring understandings that build an unshakeable foundation. To achieve this, we align our curriculum with both Biblical and academic standards, challenging students to think critically, excel, and grow in faith.
Inspired by Albert Einstein’s philosophy, we emphasize training the mind to think deeply, rather than just memorizing facts. This approach drives us to prepare students to become successful world-changers, ready for college, careers, and beyond.
In conclusion, Christian Life Upper School goes beyond academics—it’s a place where students grow, lead, and discover the path God has set before them. Here, excellence is not just encouraged; it’s a way of life.
