CLS Scores Big With New Hire

Christian Life School is excited to announce Duke Montgomery as the new Varsity Boys Basketball Coach for the Eagles.

Coach Montgomery, a native of Richmond, Va, has been an active member of the Kenosha community for over six years. He is married to Darci Montgomery and live with their daughter Katie Montgomery, a senior at Christian Life School.  Duke was a volunteer coach at All Saints Catholic School for grades 5 through 8 from 2013 to 2019. In 2019, he successfully took his 8th grade boys basketball team to the Padre Tournament in Milwaukee. He also coached 7/8 grade boys basketball at  CLS and most recently was the assistant varsity boys basketball coach for the Eagles during the 2018-2019 season.

Troy Tennyson, Athletic Director, had this to say about the hire: “Duke is an excellent communicator and is very relational in his approach to coaching. Hiring him will allow our boys to have some continuity as the team was making some great strides last season. Duke was a valuable member of that varsity coaching staff.”

The previous boys coach, Sean Smith, left on good terms for a position closer to home.
