CLS Announces New Varsity Girls Basketball Coach

June 12, 2018– Megan Wells has been named the Varsity Girls Basketball Coach for Christian Life School. In addition to her coaching role, Coach Wells will also serve as the Director of Marketing & Alumni Relations for the school while teaching 2 classes in the Physical Education Department.

A Kenosha native, she played basketball for Bradford High School before attending Evangel University in Springfield, MO. As team Captain and Spiritual Leader for the Crusaders, Coach Wells saw 4 trips to the NAIA National Tournament, including Elite 8 and Final 4 appearances.

While living in Missouri, Coach Wells was on the coaching staff for the high school girl’s team at Ash Grove High School and was also the head coach of a traveling club team, The Lady Velocity.  

Previously, she served as a marketing strategist at MG in Pleasant Prairie, WI and as an adjunct professor teaching sports marketing at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, WI. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting from Evangel and a master’s degree in sports management from Cardinal Stritch.  

Coach Wells is looking forward to building a winning program at CLS and creating a culture that not only grows these girls athletically, but also spiritually, mentally and socially, preparing them for life after high school.
