Kaden Competes in Italy with Rush Select
Kaden, a standout soccer player at CLS, was chosen to play in an international tournament with the elite Rush Select team. His trip began in Milan, Italy, where he explored the city and attended a Champions League match at San Siro Stadium.

Kaden and his team played a friendly match against a local club before heading to Pordenone to compete in the Gallini Cup. The experience combined high-level soccer with rich cultural moments, offering growth both on and off the field.
Hayes Represents the USA in France
Hayes recently returned from Chamonix, France, where she represented the United States at the World Selects Invitational—one of the most prestigious international tournaments in youth hockey. Selected as one of the top 27 forwards in North America for her birth year, Hayes competed against elite players from around the world.
The experience was both challenging and rewarding. Balancing travel and academics wasn’t easy, but with the help of classmates and teachers, she stayed on track while embracing this extraordinary opportunity. Her dedication, both on the ice and in the classroom, reflects the strong character CLS strives to build in every student.
Noah Takes on the Firefighter Challenge
Noah Wolsey recently competed in the Firefighter Challenge Championship in Indianapolis. The competition tests speed, strength, and endurance in firefighting tasks.
Noah earned his first medal and a Lakeland Fire & Safety shirt. He now turns his focus to the upcoming Midwest Regional event. His drive and performance reflect the grit and discipline CLS encourages in its students.

Bradley and Steven Palmer Lead with Purpose
Seniors Bradley and Steven Palmer have made a major impact at CLS—both on the field and in their faith. In their first year on the cheer team, the brothers helped lead the squad to a state title. Their story was recently featured on FOX6 News.
Inspired by their older sister, they took a chance on something new and quickly became team leaders. They’re also involved in student government, the worship team, and honor societies. Their story is one of humility, courage, and servant leadership.
