Who are we?

Founded in 1977, Christian Life School is a 2 year-old preschool through 12th grade evangelical, coeducational, college-preparatory school located in Kenosha, WI.  We prepare students to be lifelong followers of Jesus Christ not only through spiritual development, but also through academic excellence, vibrant music and theatre programs, some of the best sports programs in the state, and a family atmosphere unlike any other.

Is CLS one school?

Yes. We provide education for students ages 2 through 12th grade.  Throughout our accredited preschool, elementary school, middle school, and high school, we allow students to learn in an environment of small class sizes with degreed teachers who are passionate about their callings.

What are your school day hours?

The Kindergarten – 6th grade school day is 8:30am – 3:30pm.

The 7th – 12th grade school day is 8:30am- 3:30pm. We have nine class periods in our school day.

What curriculum does Christian Life School utilize?

The elementary curriculum focuses on being God-honoring and comprehensive, while the college preparatory Middle School and High School curriculum provides a challenging education that develops the whole person.

Is CLS accredited? Are the teachers certified?

Yes, the school is accredited and every member of the teaching staff is certified through ACTS.

What are the demographics of the student body?

Our students come from over 100 different Christian churches. Our student body represents a diversity in the ethnic backgrounds including African-American (8%), Asian (7%), and Hispanic-Latino (10%).

Can I afford to have my child attend Christian Life School?

Christian Life School is one of the most affordable private schools in northern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin. The tuition schedule will give you the cost per grade level as well as extracurricular costs.

How do I schedule a parent tour?

Additionally, we would like to invite families to attend a Welcome Wednesday open house to experience the school firsthand.

Do you offer student visits?

Yes! The current students at CLS are eager to host potential students for a shadow experience.

Does CLS provide transportation to and from school?

Due to the wide range of communities that the student body pulls from, we do not provide transportation. However, there are numerous opportunities to connect with other families to arrange carpool schedules.

What colleges and universities do Christian Life School graduates attend?

CLS students have continued to earn the privilege of attending a variety of highly acclaimed schools prior to graduation. With the highest average ACT score in the community, the class of 2017 received over $5 million in scholarships and grants, with 86% of the graduates attending a 2-year or 4-year college.
