Challenging Students to Practice their Faith

Our faith is at the center of everything we do. Providing our students with the opportunities to serve God and to serve others is something we are proud to say sets us apart. Our students are challenged to practice their beliefs, impact their community, and graduate from Christian Life School with the confidence to live out and defend their faith in today's secular world.

How We Accomplish This...

Weekly Chapels

Opportunities to Serve

Missions Trips

Our philosophy is that truly Christian education is committed to providing our children with an educational and social experience that reflects a God-centered view of the world.

One of the unique qualities of being a private school is our privilege to not only express our spiritual beliefs daily but regularly practice our faith in the classroom and through our weekly chapel services.

Separate chapel services for elementary, middle school and high school allow for subject-matter to be customized to the range of maturity levels of our preschool through 12th-grade students.

We believe in challenging our students to impact their community and empower them to do so by providing them opportunities to serve others. This is done in numerous ways including participation in See You at the Pole, the Day of Prayer, Senior Capstone, and scheduled bi-annual serve days.

Past serve days include partnering with local nursing home facilities and those with special needs within the community.

All CLS Seniors are required to participate in the Senior Capstone project- a challenge from school leadership for students to choose a problem/issue in the world that they care deeply about then complete research on the severity of the problem, causes, and effects, and propose a solution to address the brokenness in the world today.

In addition to fostering works of compassion at a local level, we also strive to expose our students to human needs at a national and international level.

One major way this is done is through Soccer & Salvation, a ministry started by Neftalí and CLS Alumnus, Alyssa Rubio (Mauer). Soccer is used as a tool to bring salvation to the people of Guadalajara, Mexico. Since 2013, CLS has been bringing teams for 10-day missions trips where students help facilitate soccer clinics, games, and have the chance to share the gospel with local youth.

Music Ministry Spotlight

Each semester a new group of high school students get the privilege to plan and lead the Middle & High School worship for the weekly chapels. From song selection, soloist assignments, instruments, and lighting, students are challenged to uplift their classmates as they enter into a time of worship each week.
