23/24 CLS Faculty & Staff Positions

Science Teacher (long term substitute - 2nd semester):  This full time  faculty member will work with 7th & 8th grade students teaching Physical Science and Life Science throughout 2nd semester.  This teacher has three class periods of Physical Science; three class periods of Life Science; two prep periods; and, a lunch period.  

Teacher Aide (part time, M-F, 8:00am - 12:30pm):  This position works primarily with a variety of elementary grade levels. Responsibilities include assisting the teachers with classroom prep (cutting, laminating, copying, etc), grading worksheets, supervising outdoor and indoor recess, supervising elementary lunch hours, and possibly working with classroom small groups.  Requirements include being detail oriented, organized, able to follow instructions provided by the teacher, as well as being a Christian role model, personal belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, and enjoy working individually and with children.

All K4 - 12th grade teaching faculty members are required to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education or related field, personal & professional references, be a Christ-follower, and be dedicated to the ministry of Christian education.

Full time employees (40 hrs/wk) receive a tuition discount for their children who are enrolled at Christian Life School.

CLS Substitute Teacher Positions

All grade levels welcome. Substitute teachers are required to have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and classroom management skills. All CLS employees are Christian role models, have accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, and enjoy working with students. Substitute teachers are able to choose which department they prefer to work in: preschool, elementary, and/or upper school.

Preschool Teachers are required to have a minimum of a high school diploma, be a Christ-follower, love young children, be dedicated to the ministry of Christian preschool education, and be able to safely lift young children throughout the workday.
