What classes and grade level(s) do you teach?

What do you love most about CLS?

It has ALWAYS been the students!

Why do you like teaching at CLS?

The students! I’ve been blessed with the best – I find them amazing! Every year when CLS students leave (and end up all over the world) I feel like a piece of me goes with them. I’ve prayed for them. They’ve prayed for me. What can be better than this?

What is a unique experience, talent, or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?

We are each a gifted creation. And our ultimate joy is when we find ourselves serving in the vocation for which we’ve been uniquely designed. When I as a teenager, I allowed the Lord to have absolute control of my future, He set me on a path that ultimately led to CLS. And whether it be sports or the arts, love of the written word, or a rather bizarre memory for historical detail and current affairs, I trust He has expanded my potential for His glory. Students someday may or may not remember much about high school, but if they remember I loved the Lord, loved them, and loved learning, I will call that success.
