What do you love most about CLS?
Here at CLS, we are like one big family, including students, faculty, and staff. I love that we have the opportunity to do life together, and love and pray for one another.
Why do you like teaching at CLS?
I enjoy teaching at CLS because I am able to connect with students on a personal level and watch them grow both academically and spiritually.
How are faith and learning integrated at CLS?
God is at the center of all we do. This ranges from weekly chapels to discussions of literature paired with biblical themes. No matter what we teach, we teach from a Christian worldview.
How do you make a spiritual impact on your students?
I make a spiritual impact on my students by praying for them, and by setting a godly example. I love that my students are comfortable coming to me before or after class and sharing their struggles with me and asking for prayer.
What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?
Students are so unique and learn in different ways, so I like to use a variety of different teaching methods in my classroom to help my students learn.
What sets CLS students apart from other students?
CLS students show the love of Christ to one another. I have often witnessed students praying together, holding doors open for others, and cheering each other on.
