Get to know Jeanette Rendall, who teaches 5th grade. Miss Rendall brings many life experiences to the classroom, and is always excited to share them with her students!

What classes and grade level(s) do you teach?

I teach 5th grade.

What do you love most about CLS?

I love being able to pray with the students, as well as seeing them continue on through high school.

Why do you like teaching at CLS?

I love teaching at CLS because I believe this is the will for my life. Being right where God wants me is important to me.

How are faith and learning integrated at CLS?

The Old World History class is like having another Bible class. With reading, we’re able to discuss many Christian character qualities found in the stories, and with science, we’re able to teach with a Christian Worldview.

How do you make a spiritual impact on your students?

I make an impact by sharing how I’ve experienced God’s promises in my life. As we share our testimony with others, it helps them to be encouraged in their lives.

What is a unique experience, talent or interest that you bring to your classroom to help shape the learning experience of your students?

I love sharing the many experiences God has allowed me to experience. I taught English as a Second Language in Romania using Christian materials, and I also spent 12 years in Australia.

What sets CLS students apart from other students?

It’s wonderful to observe how students encourage each other, as well as praying for them. I’ve observed this for many years at CLS.
