Beth Feest Honored by Veterans of Foreign Wars

CLS is excited to congratulate High School History and English teacher, Beth Feest! Mrs. Feest has been honored with the Veterans of Foreign Wars’ National Citizenship Education Teacher Post Recognition Award. This distinction acknowledged Mrs. Feest as someone “who teaches citizenship education topics regularly and promotes America’s history and traditions effectively.”

On Monday, March 13th, George Stoeber, Commander of the VFW Pleasant Prairie Post #7308, surprised Mrs. Feest with the presentation of this award at a faculty and staff meeting. The long-term impact that Mrs. Feest makes on her students has not gone unnoticed, as she was nominated by a CLS alumnus and former faculty member.

The CLS community is incredibly proud of Mrs. Feest. This prestigious award affirms her hard work and dedication that is apparent to those with whom she interacts. Thank you for the impact that you have had on your students, not the least of which includes instilling patriotism!
